Bristol Classic & Car Show 12/06
Discussion
to anybody that's interested, I've got a stand at the above show this Sunday on the Downs in Bristol. I've been told the attendance could be as high as 20,000...
It'll be a good opportunity to have a good up close nose around the Murci, 360 and Sagaris.
There should also be a Bentley Continental GT or a Flying Spur there.
If you're there, come over a say :wavey:

We'll be there, theres usually a drive from Redwood Lodge to the downs through Stoke Bish in the morning, not quite the mendip blast we had recently but still worth doing. Also during the day theres a competition for best sports car or best modern classic etc. Last year we were in the sports car cat & guess what won?
A bloody Beetle! Sports car? If the owner is reading this sorry mate but i dont really think its a sports car.
Anyway, sorry for the rant i feel better now, if the weather is good its a great day out, looking forward to it.

Mini silverback and I will be going. See you there
Anyone else fancy meeting up?
I'd quite like to come too. I mentioned it to her indoors not so long ago, but there was only a muted response. I will try to work on her some more to get there.
If it was in the midlands, I'd be able to blag the day away and go with my dad, but alas not when it's down my way.
Any websites? I live the other side of Bath near the A4 and have NO idea about Bristol, so any directions would be most welcome!

If it helps sway her, there'll be a bar, food court, loads of sitting areas and a GWR Bristol Soundstage and some acts...
It's not going to be all car car car...
Looks like there's going to be a good crowd! Can't wait now!

Just follow signs to the Zoo - depending on which way you come, you'll either go straight past or end up so close that any random pedestrian will be able to point it out to you.
This is the only website for it and it has all the info:

Not sure if I can make it myself but I'll try and get there.
Edited to say for some reason the link doesnt always work or takes ages to load. Just go to www.thisisbristol.co.uk and select 'Motoring Features' from the menu on the left beneath Evening Post.
