Well, wants to, apparently. Does anyone know (I've looked but cannot find) whether this is ALL diesels, or just old dirty ones?

I go to Bristol for work once a fortnight. I'll just put my prices up.

I'm looking for something a bit more substantive than the BBC website, but thanks for the helpful answer.

Try the link 11 lines down, there's plenty of info straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak.

On one hand, it has to happen I guess but I'd like to see someone challenge these politically-led city bans based on the fact that they have an otherwise road legal car that passes all the relevant tests etc.

Although I do agree that some cities have pretty grim air quality, I worry whether it's the thin end of the wedge and a sleepy seaside town suddenly decides to implement a similar ban.
