Devon Supercar Meet Idea
Discussion
Hi PH'ers,
Pretty new to both this forum lark and supercars (so go easy!) but I'd like to see if there are any supercar owners in the Devon/Teignbridge area that would be up for a very relaxed meet, focusing on showing off their cars and, (quite important this bit) doing it to raise funds for charity.
In a nutshell, the idea would be to gather a few dates throughout the year where we just meet up at venue and let the public wander by hopefully giving some money for the causes, together with donations from the car owners themselves. In time it might grow to something more but this is just first steps. I'd like to think that if I could gather 12 cars for casual meet number one, it's an idea worth exploring.
So I guess I should start. Guards Red 991 GT3, so that's one car that'll be there (wherever the place/time might be). I rarely see supercars out and about but they must be out there somewhere when you consider the number of supercar dealers present in Devon.
Charities would be Motor Neurones Disease Association and Papyrus UK.
Anyone else want to support? Just seeing who's out there first!
