Mobile phone fitting co - Bristol?
Discussion
Ah, yes Mr Menace. My local car hifi/phone/radar detector fitting place has closed down so I'll be giving you a call shortly. Collecting a replacment daily runabout on saturday that may need a bit of ICE/Phone modding over the next few weeks.

No worries Daz just give me a shout when you want it done
Thanks Guys, I've had two recommends for Lee at Mobilecarkits.
DTM - I've got a Saab 93 I've currently got an integrated kit that takes a 6310 but I've got to swap to something else as the phone is knackered - not helped by dropping it down the middle stairwell of race control at Silverstone last weekend! I think I'm getting a 6230 BUT (there's always a but!) there is something fundementally wrong with my existing kit - it was put in by the Saab dealer when it was new and it's been nothing but aggro. It works OK now but the transmission volume is really low - everyone moans that they can't hear me - I'm not sure if that's something that's easily adjustable? I won't have the car Thursday night but IIRC correctly, you're just up the road from where the car will be Friday/Saturday. If you might be able to help I'll drop you a PM?

What year is the car ? the later saab 93 has a plug for intergation of a car kit some need a variable pot to get the distortion down and if its got a little shark fin on the roof there is an ariel lead terminated with an FME lurking in the centre console.
Edited to add you can get a pop port cradle that will accept the 6210 with out the need to replace the rest of the kit but if you are having problems it might be worth replacing the whole lot . the CK-7W is'nt a bad kit but it does tend to go doolaly at times , you also have the abilty to pair another phone via bluetooth as well as using the cradle.

Arrgggghhhh I've got that whoosing sound where things are going over my head......
DTM - it's a March 2002 Saab with a little tailfin thingie - the distortion that you mention is interesting as it does (apparently) sound like poo!
The trouble is I really can't afford to reinstall the entire car kit (t'other half has just been made redundant) - I did this a while ago and go so confused that I gave up and stuck with the same phone but this time I'm gonna have to get my head around it!
