We've got a couple of nights in Bristol coming up, any advice on bistro type places, possibly Middle East cuisine, will be staying fairly central.
Thanks

Beirut Mezze on Small Street is excellent.

Others in the area I'd recommend are Pata Negra for tapas, Glass Boat a bit more upmarket, Three Brothers for decent burgers.
For drinking in that area I'd try the Apple if you like your cider, and the top end of King Street - Small Bar, Naval Volunteer, Beer Emporium.

A new place just opened with lots of space and great food, I was in there last Wednesday just after it opened and the food was great.

Not middle eastern more cuban / Caribbean.
