Hi,

I'm new to the forum, im looking to join any local meets to the somerset/bristol area..but not too familiar with the forum yet.

I noticed that there was a meet in cheddar gorge over the weekend that would have been good to go along to.

also looking to meet up with fellow members generally as i seem to be the only petrol head i know really.

thanks in advance

Not really the same area, but not too far a drive either, is the Haynes breakfast meets at the motor museum.

First Sunday of most months, so one coming up this weekend.

There are some car meets/shows on the seafront in Weston and in grove park. Don't know who organizes them though

They are normally more classic car shows though. Maybe try the Queen Square meet in Bristol ? Cruise to the Prom is on WSM sea front on May 27th if you are into VW's too

Craig, as you may have seen, Queens SQ meet is moved to Ashton Court for tomorrow morning due to the Bristol 10k shutting the centre down

Not sure that is going to work too well. I can see a lot of annoyed dog walkers and more complaints than Queen Square.

That's good. I gave it a miss the end as I thought going to a car meet in the morning and then watching the F1 in the afternoon wouldn't go down well on my wedding anniversary !
