I have a business meeting in Bodmin next week Friday and am looking for somewhere nice to take the client for dinner in the evening?

Doesn’t have to be in Bodmin but nearby would be best.

Thanks.

The Old Inn, St Breward, up on the Moors, great pub, great food, great choice, oh and great beer.
Lanivet Inn, in Lanivet village, 10 mins drive out of Bodmin going towards Innis Downs roundabout/St Austell turning on A30.
Great food again, but a bit more 'pubby'.
Nothing really of any great shakes in Bodmin itself, not a particularly affluent area, so avoid Bodmin itself, need to drive out of the town itself for 5/10 mins.

A little further afield but still only 20 mins drive, the Polgooth Inn in Polgooth village, lovely scenic pub in wooded valley, fantastic food and service, very oldy worldy, but well worth it.
My local..!!
Eat here very regularly.
Or, a bit more restauranty, more than pubby, Charlie's Boathouse in Charlestown, right by the sea, nice coastal village, very trendy and fantastic food, not pricey either.
20 mins max from Bodmin also.

One more...The Foxes Revenge just outside Summercourt village just off the A30 west of Bodmin.
Again, a 15/20 mins hurtle down the A30 from Bodmin going West.
Very trendy upmarket pub/restaurant, more restaurant than pub, but great food very well priced in nice surroundings.
Was eating in here last week..!
Recommended.
