Oh great dwellers of the south west, some assistance if you will...

For those who don't know me (the internet is a big place after all) I am one of the organisers of the BMW Compact Cup. Each year we invariably end up racing on the wife and I's wedding anniversary, which means she (chooses) gets dragged along to a racing circuit where some flowers turn up and she spends a weekend questioning some pretty big life choices, I imagine hehe

Anyway this year I would like to make a fuss of her, plan is to have a small surprise (well to her anyway) party for our anniversary, basically us and the drivers and a few close friends and family who can make the trip down to Wiltshire! What I would ideally like is someone to cater it, ideally one of the mobile pizza oven type companies (pizza being one of her favorites), would be for circa 40 people on the 15th July.

Do you guys know of anyone local and good? I am on a budget (isn't everyone?) so not looking for silver service just good value for money.

Also as I know a few of the compact and or BRSCC lot are on here no blabbing to her! Thank you please!

There's a chap who works out of the old station in Bath - Pizza on a bike - I think. Worth a look.

Why don't you talk to the circuit management? There is the The Bell in Yatton Keynell, the white hart in ford, the salutation inn at the gibb all pretty close by. I'm sure they could help sort something out for you.

Are you looking for someone to turn up to the circuit, or somewhere local?

As mentioned, The Bell has a barn you can use, and can no doubt cater in a variety of ways. It's my local.

If you want something at the circuit, you could speak to The Tavern who may be able to do something, or you could get a hog roast from Allington Farm Shop (pricey, but all inclusive of staff, plates and such).

There is a pub local to me (Dursley) that has a mobile woodfired pizza catering trailer.
I am not sure if they rent it out for events but might be worth a call:
Kingshill pub.

The Old House at Home along the road in Burton do Pizza and also have links to an external catering company according to their website.

I have eaten there a couple of times and it's usually very good so I would expect any contract catering they work with would be decent as well
