At the risk of breaking some rule I couldn't find last time I mentioned an event (at at an animal sanctuary) on PH, is anyone heading to a classic car show at a large castle just SouthEast of Exeter and fancies a meet at some point?

Hoping to get there about 11am, but be warned that there are road works on the A379 Bridge Rd in Exeter, the one from Countess Wear down to the Exminster roundabout, and during the week it queues back to the Devon Motel/Hotel roundabout into Marsh Barton Ind Est so that approach will quite likely be a bit pants.

Most of the other roads are dual carriageways for cycles (2 single track separated by grass) but Days-Pottle Lane (the one down from the Petrol Station near Little Silver) is a the best of a bad bunch of alternatives to Exminster.

I was there today and saw the Aston above. Very nice car along with everything else at the show. Really enjoyed myself

It was a lot larger than I expected, although it was extremely light on Italian stuff - I think I only saw one Alfa and one Ferrari.

Not at all jealous that you took both Astons, though Ann says that if you want she'll drive the V8V down next time to save you making 2 trips.
