As title, heading south towards Shaftesbury after the traffic lights after the A303 turning there is a BMW in the hedge after the big dip (which for some reason they have decided to put double solid white lines down) and before the sharp left hander, it has been there for so long it has become almost invisible due to the grass etc growing over/around it!

Should be in the bad parking thread wink Have you checked to see if there is anyone in it? Police aware tape?

Ha ha, yes I went past yesterday am, middle aged 5 series I think.

Weeds have indeed almost obscured it.

Been there a couple of months now - was taped but has just been fogotten it seems.

Will be ideally located if someone elses gets that bend wrong and comes off.....

For many years a good place to overtake dawdlers if there's nothing coming the other way.

I've clearly not been down there recently to see the new white lines frown

It's a lovely E39.

It's bloody annoying. That used to be a lovely fast route, I've taken to going down the Shepton Mallet way again, which is just as slow.

It's a weird one - how can such a nice car stay there for so long? Did the owner get nicked straight away, but even then surely the police would want it gone? If it wasn't such a tricky bend I'm sure someone else would have 'borrowed' it by now laugh

Agreed, see it every Tuesday on my way to Dorset from Bristol. As others have said, been there at least 6 weeks. A lovely looking dark metallic blue E39, which actually looks in very good condition!

Certainly it's a nice car. Everything about leaving it there is so wrong - not least it's a total hazard if someone else messed up the corner.

Many people still do if it's safe to do so.
