DORSET PH TREASURE HUNT

DATE: SUNDAY 14TH AUGUST
TIME: TBA
LOCATION: HUNTERS MOON PUB, MIDDLEMARSH, DORSET DT9 5QN
WEBSITE:http://www.hunters-moon.org.uk/

Leisurely hunt for clues around the beautiful Dorset countryside on lovely roads, lasting about an hour and a half drive. Return to the pub for a meal, chat and prizes. Bring the family for a nice day out.

The pub does some lovely food, there's a nice garden and the landlord is a petrolhead.

You don't need to bring the 'PH car'. It might be easier to hop in and out of the daily drive.

Possibly, certainly a big turn out at the regular Haynes meets, if you could get a % of them to come you'd have a decent event.

September might be better, less PH'rs on Holiday & less tourists clogging up the roads , also worth posting in south coast section as well

If west Dorset I would like to give this a go. Not done a PH meet for ages (not that I have been on many).

North west Dorset to start. Around Sherborne area. Then we'd probably head out down around Dorchester, Puddle town, Maiden Newton sort of area.

I would make an effort to try and get across from East Devon. I may not be in my Fabia though as its a bit of an asbo car at the moment, but we can see. Would also need a navigator / clue spotter biggrin

Sounds good. Maybe a midday start so folk have time to get there.

Being a west Dorset lad I could be up for this, depending on date etc, and if I can persuade other half to come along as navigator (she has no interest in cars)! but we have done a few treasure hunts in the past

So, as I've booked a day with the pub, who's up for this?

Anyone around Exmouth / Exeter want to do this as a co-pilot in my Skoda Fabia? (will be less boring than that sounds....)

Hi, sorry I'm going to have to postpone this. Haven't had time to sort anything out and it's rather dropped off the radar on here so very few people interested.

Maybe do it in September if there's more interest. thumbup
