Is this entrance off Downside Rd monitored, because it would make a massive difference to my journey time. When the A38 road works were in progress and it was open to the public the traffic flow was superb, now there are huge queues at the lights.

When it's monitored there's the strong possibility that it'll be by armed police who take airport security rather seriously.

When Jeremy Clarkson went up against army trained marksmen, they hardly hit him and that was in close quarters. Enter it, drive as fast as you can and you'll be fine. If you do get shot I cannot take responsibility.

I have been using that entrance to drop off and collect friends and family for years.
I have also used it to deliver plant when they were building the walkway.
There are cameras but they are really only watching out for people parked and waiting.
