Wiscombe Park hillclimb 23 / 24 April

2016 South West hillclimbing kicks off this weekend at Wiscombe Park. Both days have decent entries and even the weather forecast looks "ok". It's a decent afternoon out... and there's a beer tent.

It was a fantastic day out last year, will be going again this year. Wiscombe park is a beautiful setting.

Do you have a link to the entry list?
Usually go to Wiscombe 3 or 4 times a year. It is one of the best places to watch motorsport.

For everyone else - if you've not been to watch a hillclimb before - just do it; spectator entry is very cheap, just turn up. You'll find the variety of entrants and friendliness and camaraderie of the whole paddock unrivalled in the whole of motorsport. It may be unique for personable engagement and family-frindliness among competitors and spectators alike. And the venues need visitors to make the whole thing possible at all, even though it - the organisation, the essential, laborious marshalling and everything else -is entirely led by volunteers. As one happy spectator of many years to those yet to try it - please support when you can.
