How to get rid of a car?

Hi everybody,

I've moved recently to the UK and don't know what to do with my LHD car.

As a truck tried to made a convertible with it while parked in Bristol and I don't have time to take it back to France, what should I do with it?

Would a scrapyard be interested in buying it for a couple of hundred quid and come and pick it up it hasn't got a MOT?

And if yes, does anybody know that kind of scrapyard around Cheddar?
