Hot Zinc Spray and Powercoat in Bristol Area?
Discussion
Does anyone know of a place in the Bristol area that does hot zinc spray and powder coat that you can recommend? Its for a TVR chassis, wishbones etc so looking for a good quality job.
Ideally the place would have the ability to pick up/drop off parts as I don't have access to a trailer.
Thanks
Rhys

I had a place over at Keynsham shot blast everything for my Griff rebuild and they powder coated some loose parts as well while I sorted the chassis.
Like you found with them above, their powder coating wasn't very good and has started to break down without even seeing any use !
The chassis: Colin at TVRSSW sent to their usual place way down their way in Devon....looks a good job.
Since then I have had another complete set of wishbones done by RPA engineering in Bristol...they offered two types/prices....I went for the more expensive choice one and they came back looking very much like the chassis.
But it doesn't look like RPA do zinc spay, at least not on their website....in fact very few choices in Bristol do according to google.
I haven't bothered with any zinc spraying...zinc is soft and a spray is going to be a very thin layer giving little protection again flying stones once breaking the exterior powder coat !
As the car lasted 20 years with TVR's efforts it should last another 20 with my much improved effort and if not just redo it then as only 400 quid, while some people suggest galvanising and/or have spent thousands on industrial north sea style products....I presume they never intend selling.
Which are you doing OP...the Sag/T350/other ?
