Hi.
A couple of years ago, some PHers met in Morrisons carpark in Cribbs Causeway and drove up in a convoy to the Revival at Prescott Hill climb.
Wondered if anyone fancied doing it this year too?

Though I don't have anything exciting to blast up the hill this year

It's free too!!
Car guys and gals bring their lovely motors along and some of them kindly drive up the hill with you as a passenger if you pay a small fee which goes to a charity (I think)

And if you're feeling brave enough I may let some of you sit shotgun in the boring bora it will be the slowest ever run up the hill ever
Chances of crashing .NIL
Chances of excitement .NIL
Chances of taking in the scenery .PLENTY
Sorry haven't got anything exciting this year to bring along

It's a great day. Last year I must have done 10 runs in the Evora taking passengers up the hill in the rain!

Almost certainly going this year too as i only live ten mins away.

All the money goes to charity. It's not a competitive event do you don't need to cane your car, and don't need helmets. Marshalling is less than at competitive events.

Guys I will be attending again this year in my mx5. I had a great time last year

I don't think I will be able to join the convoy as I need to change the oil and plugs first thing Sunday morning which I will do at my parents house near Berkley

Come and say hi, I'm in a green mk1 mx5. It's got a ph sticker on the back but it's hard to see as it kind of blends into the dark bodywork !

Yes mate I will be doing a couple of runs

If you want me to do a passenger ride just give me a shout. It's only a slow mx5 but it's low, quite loud and with the roof down can be quite fun at sensible speeds.

I need to do a few bits to it before I go, if anything goes wrong and I can't bring it I will be in one of my other cars (old green impreza turbo wagon or a 70s mg b roadster)

cool i always buy more tickets on the day

last year i think i did about 6\7 runs up the hill though that was in the r34 some how i think 2 runs is enough in a diesel car

Yea I'm just buying mine on the day.

Also I seem to recall an r34 struggling for traction off the line in the wet last year cool

yes that would of been me

trying to put down 346 bhp through the back wheels in the wet with a heavy right foot .Though the tyres didnt help much if you have ever used maxxis maz1 tyres you will no even the smallest of wet patches is enough to loose grip
