Urgent plea! Ford 4.6L V8 needs a quick fix in Bristol.

My MG 260 has popped a spark plug. I need a thread insert fitting TOMORROW (THURSDAY).

I work here in Bristol and drive home to Cornwall on a Friday.

It ideally needs the Wurth insert known as a time-sert fitting.

Can anyone help me please!

Advanced Car Care at Filton recently did a time-sert thread repair on a Porsche Boxster for me. They are Porsche specialists but could be worth a try if you're struggling.

Price Bros Auto Engineering do thread repairs in Avonmouth and apparently have a mobile service but I haven't used them personally.

Thankfully my dad came to my rescue and brought me one of my spare cars that I keep at his house.

Now I just need to move it from one garage to the other .
