On Sunday the Evo owners are going to Gurston down Hillclimb - starting at 5am departure !!! So thats out

Anyone fancy a more social jaunt over dartmoor and up to North Devon ?
Just a thought

La Vie en Bleu at Prescott, complete with Senna's Lotus Renault F1 car, Veyron's and a short but good air show. We've got a stand there, so I'm going to head up there on Sunday. Although thankfully not to run the stand!

+1, I'll definitely attend Prescott.

Gurston Down hillclimb is a fave of mine (Broad Chalk - midway between Salisbury and Shaftsbury). May 23-24 is an MSA British National championship round, so wide range of entrants up to 675hp+ in 300kg hilarity. £10 to attend. Action usu starts c 8.30am and goes on until the rounds are done, say 5.30-6pm, so no great hurry/early start to get there if you don;t fancy it wink

Where abouts in Devon are you?

I am potentially free all Monday afternoon, but I'm right down in Plymouth.

Well I'm happy to meet anywhere around half way if you want? Kind of Paignton/totnes/buckfastleigh territory.

Then bimble around for an hour or two. If I'm in the Lomax it will have to be a more gentle pace.

I'll need to confirm later

I spent 8 hours fitting new discs and pads all round, yesterday. Having read the instructions, I need to do a gentle 200 miles on the discs to bed them to the pads, then some heavy brake cycles to get the pads up to temp and bedded in.

Im off out now to add some miles, but im not sure If I will be in the position for a blast tomorrow

Giles, we were out and about on Saturday afternoon with both GTR's. First time outing with both since Ian collected his from the Docks. We went out towards Camelford and stopped at that Café Bistro just outside Bude for a snack and then continued home via Holsworthy and yes of course a 2nd fuel stop at Sourton.... That's emptied the piggy bank until next month now....

Perhaps we'll try to arrange a meet in early July, as we're not going to the Pod now. Will have a think what we can do..
