Bristol Car sharing car parks?

Coming from Wales, sharing a lift with co-worker who lives in Bristol. Traffic is shocking to get to/from his house. At the minute getting in and out of bristol for him is adding about 45 mins or more unnecessary time.

Is there anywhere good/safe near m4 we could park one of the cars for the day? (9am to 5pm sort of times)

I'd suggest using the old Severn Bridge. Come off at the A403 junction just beyond the bridge/before the tolls (Severn View services location) and there's loads of spare parking in and around the junction. Obviously not in the services as you'll get ticketed probably.

Might have a hard time convincing him to come that far, hoping for something closer!

Where do you both live, and where do you have to get to for work?

He's south of Bristol and I'm coming from Cardiff. Usually heading towards either london or birmingham.

Get the train to Temple meads and he can grab you from there!!

In which case I stand by my previous recommendation. Any other route is a backtrack for you.

The second option would be to park around Avonmouth village somewhere. South Bristol is a piece of piss up the Portway and you've got the autobahn M49 from the Severn Bridge. Cardiff easily doable in an hour.
