North Bristol Auto-Electrician - recommendation needed..
Discussion
Afternoon guys,
I’m looking for a good recommendation for an auto-electrician in North Bristol.
I have a 2003 996 C4S with the old PCM2 that links through to a Bose amp and speakers with the MOST set up and optical cable. On the whole this ain’t bad as an old system but I’m intending on removing the PCM2 out and replacing it with an 8” Android tablet that will give me streaming music, DAB radio, Bluetooth voice and other in-car apps.
I’ve bought a replacement horseshoe centre consul which I’m adapting to take the tablet and now need to start acquiring all the necessary cabling. I’ve seen forums in the US where others have done this but with iPad minis – however, I don’t want to go to the Dark Side as I’m not an Apple fan.
My son and I are going to try and get this cracked in the next few weeks – I just want a good auto-sparky to fall back on if we get stuck.
Any help, advice or recommendations would be appreciated
