Any Bristol-ish area PHers do dash cam hard wiring?

If it's a lease car I wouldn't be tempted to hardwire in "properly"
Might be better to use a spare unfused area on the fusebox and rig up the loom to it
Both my dashcams are hardwired in (one points out the back too) and both were done finding a switched live in the nearby loom (front uses headight wiring, rear uses wiper motor wiring) and they were spliced in with earths also being utilised. This is obviously a pretty permanent solution not recommended for a car you are handing back I suspect. It#s easy enough to tuck wiring behind roof lining and pillar trims, etc.
