I'm working there next week. My client has put me in a hotel in Ilchester, but I'd rather be nearer.

Can anyone recommend a good B&B pub within about a 5 mile radius? I always use the Good Beer Guide, but none are coming up. Not all good pubs get into the GBG, so if anyone knows one that serves good beer and has beds I'll be grateful.

TIA

Hopefully someone with local knowledge will be able to offer advice, but in the meantime see here: click.

Yeah, thanks. My wife is in the industry, but I'm after the local knowledge and personal recommendations.

Good beer.
Clean comfy room.
Good food.
Good beer (again).

I stayed at The George while in Crewkerne for work last year, and it was perfectly nice - didn't have a lot of time to spend in the pub, but the breakfast was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable, if a little dated. Good central location, too.

Not as far as I know. It is an engineering company though.

B and B in Montacute near Yeovil, not far from Crewkerne. It is the one right next to the Church. Two pubs very close and some Montacute house and nice places to look around too.
