Apparently there's some form of car meet going on in Queens Square on Sunday. A friend of mine is bringing a suitor down in a 12C, I'll be there with a friend in my Nissan. If anybody's local then it'd be good to meet you, the meet kicks off at 9am and runs until about midday. Not been to one before so frankly not sure what to expect but I'll be there nonetheless. Short Asian chap in a white 370Z.

Can only stay a short while so will be aiming to leave home about 8 to try and secure a spot where I can't be blocked-in.

I went last month thinking it was just a handful of cars - I was very wrong! Check out the pics at the link...

Where did that page spring from?!

The monthly event is organised, all original hassles, hoop-jumping, etc undertaken by The Avenue Drivers' Club - www.Facebook. com/avenuedriversclub and http://www.avenuedriversclub.co.uk/

Surely better to show people's appreciation and gratitude for the event by at least using the correct page?

I agree, but it doesn't help that ADC site and page is always out of date (last 2 Facebook posts are Novemeber 2014 and January 2014!) whereas the unofficial site is always up to date and active.

I will be making it for the very first time after meaning to go for years!

Also doesn't help having multiple threads:

Let's not get too hung up on how the meet gets publicised - I'm just grateful to ADC that it's happening at all.

Best wishes, Colin
