Pick up friend at 1pm and I fly 4:30pm. Any suggestions where to walk my 2 dogs for an hour or so as long drive already to get there, and where serves decent food, and would allow dogs in ? Where else to ask...but PH !

You could walk part of the perimeter....I don't know the nameof the lane but if you were leaving the airport by car and took the first exit at the exit roundabout then passed the 'service vehicles only' entrance there's a lane just around the corner on the left. If you go up about 300 yards you'll get to the perimeter fence. Park there and walk along as far as you like.........nowhere to eat tho, and watch out for crazy airport shuttles, it's a short cut for them.

Isn't that Goblin Combe Lane? You can get to it via Redhill or alternatively out of the airport, turn towards Bristol then left at the Airport Tavern. Go along 400 yards till you get to the phone box, turn left and that road takes you right round the runway and back out, eventually, onto the A38 at Redhill.
