Looks like I'll be taking the even longer way home.

My house backs on to the 4057 and from this end (before Winterbourne) it was actually pretty clear - the M32 incident a week or two ago had traffic queueing on the road until past 7pm; the traffic today was quite heavy until about 5pm - I had a shave and a shower, by the time I started cooking dinner at 5.45pm the traffic was gone.

Wish the best for the biker and I hope my fellow SW folks didn't get caught up too badly in it.
