Not really on the up. Although the new establishments will bring money I'm sure.
Remember the old Tesco near the multi storey car park? Well that's been sitting, sectioned off the past 15 years. Looks like someone bought it and installed an Odeon, and 5 decent chain restaurants in its place along with a premier inn. Not a bad looking complex to be fair.
On the subject of the diner in question, fairly expensive but decent comfort food with an American feel. Staff need a kick up the arse (polite reminding in my case) to get your order, but they are polite and friendly towards customers. At £5 for my daughters shake though, it had me quoting Pulp Fiction lines (fking good nutella milkshake though)
Would go again, but there is a Frankie & Bennys just across the street so maybe not.
