Hi all,

I am thinking of getting my car remapped and the closest place is Alan Jeffery in Plyton just outside of Plynouth.
Has anyone been there? Or know the staff, basically I want to know if they are a good bunch of guys who are trust worthy.

Mapped my A4 last year, seemed pleasant enough!

If you go further up the road RH tuning is based there too, drives a 64 plate RS6 with some tasty power gains!

The dyno is good. Not sure what their actual mapping is like.

Here's a video of mine blasting up the RR from over 4 years back. Running more power now though. biggrin

I've been to AJ's a few times for dyno day, he's always seem very knowledgeable and advises what to, and more importantly what not to do however there is a a lot of negative around him which I don't know much about but people always have their own opinions.

As said above Rh tuning, or find a guy on FB called Bevo Tuning Custom Remapping, couple friends of mine had their cars done their, could recommend enough.

Here's a video from when I wen there a few weeks back.

You're never going to please all of you customers all of the time. I know people who swear by him, and those who swear at him. When I wanted my D5 chipped he wanted to install his own custom map - cost about the same, but in the end I didn't bother.

Superchips are a good product with the support of a national company, why would you pay the same for a "home brew" product? More to the point, how is the price comparable?

Ian's 32 GTR will need a dyno run to check fuelling and see what power it's running. It's expected in from Japan between end Jan and mid Feb, so end Feb, early March would be a good time for us.

Exactly - Superchips do this all the time and sell a product. If it was no good pr easy to better then I'd expect them to go under. Alan's personalised setup was more or less the same price as a Superchips conversion done elsewhere.
