If lots of people can do the Saturday and not the Sunday then we could do the Sat?

Not sure about this - the HERO rally is up around Porlock on Sat so 'we' might be heading up there, which means parent duties on Sunday frown

Do you know what time the LE JOG cars are at Porlock?
I guess they are using the toll road as a timed run?

Thanks
Steve

Yup - the toll road is being used as a stage.

Not sure of the time, but I had an email that they were looking for marshalls. Mike Dalby of the Crash Box Club was asking, they wanted people from 11am - 3pm.

Great idea. But I am waiting for my calipers and new pads to be fitted (very low now) so would have to give this a miss. I would be interested in stuff like this local to Yeovil though. I have a mad with a MK1 Focus RS who I am sure would come a long too

I may come along route and weather depending.

If it's too cold it'll be pointless. Wouldn't mind being a passenger in your Lotus mind Ben, plus we could talk bikes wink

I'm on a very late trip on Saturday but, if i'm up and about I'll hook up. I'll keep checking back to see what's happening.

Sorry for the late reply.
Due to the lack of interest earlier in the week, my plan for this weekend now looks a little like this.
Tomorrow afternoon a drive out over the roads around compton abbas air field ending in coffee at the airfield.
Sunday - trip to bovington tank museum for the wartime christmas fair. A great day out, well worth it.

Any one is more than welcome to come with me and Ed to either.
PM me if you want my contact details to arrange a meet point / time

What time are you planning to be at Compton Abbas Airfield? I could do with a run out and the weather is set fine for tomorrow according to the met office.

I would've been game for this, but I've got to work. Unless Inverness is closed due to the snow forecast up there that is!

Thought it was only fair to let you all know what you missed out on. biggrin

There are some stunning roads around Shaftesbury.
When the weather warms up we will have to have a meet or two around this way.

Zig zag is a load of bks!

I seriously don't get why people rave about it, perhaps it's better by car than bike but it's only just made worth the effort by the view at the top.

There's much better roads without using it imo.
