Hi all,

I have an Imola Red BMW E36 M3 and someone has kindly keyed three panels down the passenger side (Front wing, door and rear quater)

The scratch is deep and down to the primer on all panels so think it will need the panels spraying... Or is there another way?

As the car is red it will need matching in with the existing paintwork.

Does anyone local know of a decent spray guy and how much they charge a panel?

Is there any other option? I have tried the red filling in wax which for what it is, works well but I can still see it.

Never had any paintwork on any of my cars so a complete novice with this stuf.

Thanks in advance

Mark

Sorry, I should have said. Yes I am from Yeovil but happy to travel around Somerset/Dorset for the right job/price.

I shall give them a call, thank you

JB Autos in Bristol are good.

I've used them and I think a few others have as well.

I don't know how they compare price wise, but the quality is very good.

Agreed, used them to have my rear bumper completely re-done and they did a very good job of it as well.

I feel like I've got a loyalty account at Old Forge just outside Radstock!

My wife reversed into our neighbours vivid orange Gold V, did a rear quarter panel. That cost just under £400 total.

Her Range Rover was sorted with a bit of paint and all the plastics re-done at the same time, £350 for that. Her Z3 is also going in for a full front bumper repaint and a bit of plastic repair, quote for that is £250.

Service excellent and nothing too much trouble.

An estate agent near Radstock. Our paths 'should' have crossed at some point...
