Any 'power wagon' owners fancy Hullavington 12 Sep 14?

We put on a demonstration autosolo at the Emergency Services Action Day there yesterday, I can say that the bit we used is pretty well swept now with a nice covering of rubber!
Seriously, tarmac was good abrasive stuff, the section we were on seemed fine and nowhere I went struck me as out of the ordinary.

I've got a V10 M5 Touring, keen to do an easy track day in it at some point and i'm only 5 miles away. Whats the surface like? I did it years ago and i remember it being fairly course in terms of surface and lots of stone chips.
Is your M5 Touring black by any chance? If so I've seen you around a few times, parking up at Chippenham railways station and also in the Hullavington Murco garage. Looks very nice!! The surface is very good, although it is quite aggresive - it wore down my R888s a bit more than I had hoped! No issues with stonechips personally either. I really like the course they lay out - a good mix of fast and slow, sweeping and tight bends with a hairpin and chicane section.
I've taken the day off on Friday anyway so I'll go on the morning and chance it. I'm also going to call and see if there is a reserve list. I don't ever rememeber it booking out like this before so not sure why the sudden surge in uptake - perhaps a car club or something?
