Hi all, Can you advice the best place to park in the centre of Bristol (Hippodrome) on a Sunday for 2-3 hours? I used to live in Bristol but not been to the centre for a few years.

How regularly does that red-trousered dictator close the streets on central Bristol to cars so that the yoghurt-weavers can run free? Hopefully it's on this Sunday!

Cheers

I'd probably go to the NCP on Trenchard street, Literally just behind the Hippodrome.

Any of the on-street parking is free and most of the single yellows don't operate, have a drive around Frogmore St and surrounds...

Personally i'd do anything but! Dont know if its still the same but that carpark was notorious for break-in's. Queens Sq is always a safe bet.

Lanes around the back of the Hippodrome would be my first try, then Queen's Sq etc. Most street parking is free on Sunday.

The underground one in Millennium Square? I'm sure it's won awards for being Best Car Park or something.
