We went to their first ever event last year - really really good and we'll be there again this weekend
Also attended this event last year, was a great first effort which just needs your support/ attendance to enable it to grow into what could become the best 2 day car event of it's kind in the south west ! Look forward to seeing some of you there. As posted on the Wilton House thread, we've changed our mind with the weather and are going to Castle Hill today, so if anyone wants a couple of Wilton tickets then pm me.
If it arrives soon enough I can hand them over at Castle Hill, or they can be collected this evening from EX4 postcode.

I agree it was a bit pricy for what you got, but I think that the weather and clash with Wilton might have hit them a bit. A lot of the display areas were pretty empty with posts and tape labelled up for car clubs but nothing there. This might explain the gateman asking if we were exhibiting when we arrived. Cheeky sod - the Toyota isn't *that* old.
Met up with Lee and handed over our Wilton tickets, which apparently turned out to be dry and sunny Still at least the Gransport got a wash on Sunday and put away rather than festering on the drive for another fortnight.
The Hill was pretty good, but the chicanes at the bottom meant a bit of a stroll to see the cars stretching their legs. The F1 and GT cars were loud, and fun to watch, as was the loony on the old bikes.
A good turnout of manufacturers and retailers' cars, although the staff seemed more intent on playing with their phones than engaging with the public. Still, it reinforced my opinion of the majority of car salespeople
We watched a couple of blokes releasing birds of prey into the wild, although apparently that wasn't their intention. I assume they came back eventually but there was little sign of it whilst we watched.
I'd go again next year, but it wouldn't be top of the list.

thanks for the reviews of the event everyone.
re: cost - perhaps if we applied for a group PH entry under classic cars we then get in for £5 total for both days incl one passenger. much cheaper and very subjective what is a classic and what isn't.
Someone said it was a good 3 days. I thought it was only sat and sun. What's the 3rd day then? The Friday?
Seems the setup, i.e. nice country house, is very similar to Pentillie so the pricing probably comes from their normal wedding venue type approach to things...
But a hill climb is normally around £6 a head around here but that's all you get with a burger van chucked in.
So £15 each seems a bit steep. (excuse unintentional pun)
