=THE NEXT EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE FIELD BEING WATERLOGGED BY RECENT WEATHER
IT IS THE HOPE IS TO RESTART THE EVENT SPRING 2015=
MODS: Mr Grump Previously obtained permission for posting threads relating to this meet
It is not for profit, and non charity related
Hi all,
As some are aware, a PH member, Mr Grump has very kindly offered to open up his land so that like minded Petrolheads (up to approx 200 cars) can have somewhere to meet up once a month and talk engines whilst showing their pride and joy.
The actual grass area in question:
Unfortunately the first event didn't get out to as many as hoped due to issues with permission for the thread, which has since been sorted.
So, the intention is to to have the next meet on:
SUNDAY 17TH AUGUST
0900 - 1200
There will be a burger van on site to provide bacon rolls, coffee and tea etc (note this is not owned by Mr Grump, merely there to offer us the convenience of a snack if required!)
The hope is to attract a similar eclectic mix to the Queens Square meet (as is the spirit of PH) so it matters not whether you drive a Ford or a Ferrari so long as you are a Petrolhead
So, some directions to the area, should you wish to join in:
The entrance is on the A38 right on top of the 2nd roundabout prior to Bristol Airport (when heading towards Bristol on the A38) and immediately opposite the large yellow sign for the Bristol Airport silver parking zone.
And if coming from the North ((North Bristol etc) it would be reversed, so you pass straight over the main Bristol Airport roundabout and again straight over at the 2nd roundabout (with the Silver parking zone signposted off it) - the entrance to the venue (white posts either side of a cattle grid) is immediately on the left after that roundabout.
Obviously, as Mr Grump is being generous enough to open his property for the good of all, he'd ask that if you attend you are considerate with regard to the speed you approach the property on the driveway (10 MPH please as there are kids and animals about), and also that you take your rubbish home with you.
I hope everyone that is able makes an effort to attend and enjoy what could become a regular, enjoyable event.
Please insert your details below so Mr Grump can get an idea of likely numbers
Thanks all!

I would certainly be interested in this, but 17th is the same day as Mark Mooor Classic show and I've already agreed to take my Countach to that. But I would like to come along to future meets work allowing.
How far west in the SW are you Mike? would be nice to see some more Lambos down this way Cornwall/Plymouth...
If Mrs HF's parents weren't over, we would've made the first one. I have that weekend booked off, so should be able to make it. Especially as it's only 10mins up the road!

If able to attend, can you provide some more detail regarding the location as I would be coming from North Bristol, presume field is past the airport and further south on the A38. Thanks.
Hi,I've added directions if coming from the North above, but basically its just the reverse of the original directions, it is an entrance on the left hand side just after you go across the roundabout for the Airport Silver Parking (off site) zone - the large yellow sign for the Silver parking is practically opposite the entrance.
There will be signs at the entrance to the venue on the day, and you won't miss them!
