Now back on with PH's permission to post.
Petrolheads Gathering on Sunday 27th July on a big grass area very close to Bristol Airport. Hoping to attract a Queens Squaresque range of cars from Classics to Supercars with everything else in between. An excuse for a drive out on a Sunday and a natter with like minded people that relish pouring petrol into their pride and joy.
10-30 to 2-30 Lots of space, easy access and hopefully refreshments available but can't promise now it's got so late to arrange. Please spread the word, if it works could well become a regular thing weather depending. Directions to follow

Given that there's 200 cars on the other side of town on the same day, is it better to re-schedule to another weekend? Admittedly, the thread over here hasn't gathered much interest.

Let's hope that not everyone is going to Castle Coombe! Refreshments definitely coming now so hopefully a few cars as well.

There's a list of people going to Combe here. Best of luck with your event, but looking at the list, there's a lot of people in the local area going there.

Interested in bringing the Z4MC to this, any more details such as where exactly and how many your expecting?

It's 1 minute from Bristol Airport, directly off the main A38, there will be a couple of PH Smiley signs up in the morning to point the way to the entrance.
No idea how many probably just you and me if some friends don't get out of bed!
Will be another next month as well

Any idea on the postcode just for ease?

And what time from/until? I am going to come in my rather noisy Z4 and my mate is bringing his bike so there's two people at least tongue out

I really hope this happens again as it's fantastic location for a meet and I am extreamly envious of the guy who lives there and his toys bow

Bit unfortunate to be on the same day as the Combe meet but I sure it will grow into a great place to meet if it continues..

Agree with the all the above - a big thank you to Dan for getting this off the ground. Perfect location and really good bacon rolls as well!

My thanks to all those that stopped in to support great to meet others with similar enthusiasm for their 4 wheeled friends
Hoping to have another in 3 weeks time and will get the details up (now we are allowed) as soon as it's confirmed. I'll keep mowing the grass in anticipation!
