My OH is going to some course tomorrow near Bristol Temple Meads station.

She's fussing about parking as she's not very confident driving to places she doesn't know.

Anyone got any recommendations for a car park, easy to find and likely to not be full at 0830?

Cost is not a problem.

Silly as it may sound, if cost is not a problem, Bristol Temple Meads station itself has a sizeable car park, I think under cover, in an old part of the station ....

the easiest car park for Temple Meads is Temple Meads car park. wink

Turn left off the road into Temple Meads, the long term car park is on the left through an archway just before the actual station.

Yes you will struggle to get a space at that time, even on the lower section which is through the old train shed and down the ramp.

These days if I'm going to Bristol, I just use the Park and Dire off the M5.

Unless I'm going to Temple Meads, in which case I park at the station.

Just not the one in Bristol smile

Seriously, consider parking a couple of train stops away and getting a day return -might turn out to be a lot quicker and less hassle.

Is it that bad? laugh

In the end she decided to swing into the Castle Cary station car park on the way, and see if she could park there.

She could, and got the train from there.

Thanks for the advice though.
