I'm looking for a body shop for minor repairs and repaint of a classic fibreglass car. Ideally within 5 /10 mile radius of Trowbridge but would travel further if needs be. Having spoken to a couple it seems that either people are scared to take on fibreglass or their order book is so full at the moment that they can not commit to have it completed by the end of July.

Recommendations would be greatly appreciated and in particular for anyone who is known to you as having a great track record with fibreglass finishes. The car has been stripped to its gel coat and is ready now to go to a suitable location.

Similar question for me, if anyone can help - looking to get some scuffs sorted on the front of my Lotus Elise. If anyone can recommend anywhere near Exeter that would be a great help!

Speak to Geoff the owner.

He just did a great job on the splitter for the Alpine. Last time I was there he has an ISO Grifo on the ramps, a Maser, a 911 and an Ultima. He has also painted G60's for the Ginetta factory.

I thought they were pretty reasonable, my splitter/bumper was hard to do. Difficult to remove and reattach, it had a split in a very difficult location that they fixed, the paint was hard to match and they had to send the bumper to a paint manufacturer to get a match. They also painted the door mirror cases both of which were scratched. Price was about £280 inc VAT.

Geoff is a perfectionist when it comes to paint
