I've been spoiled for meetings to attend for the last 8 or 9 years, living on the Hants/Berks/Surrey borders.
Are there ever any in Devon or Cornwall, within reasonable distance of Plymouth?
Are there enough PHers there to organize one?
There used to be plenty (talking the start of this year and last year) but i havnt seen much happening yet this year. Are there ever any in Devon or Cornwall, within reasonable distance of Plymouth?

There are plenty of us, but not many like to organise events. So Lee or I often create impromptu days out.
On average there is probably something to do every other weekend.
I've organised stuff around Plymouth, Cornwall and had 30 people attend, others get 8-10 cars. Depends on the date really
But let me say WELCOME

I can see Plymouth train station from my window, so I suppose I count.
However I weekend at my country retreat in Exeter, so a midweek meet would be graced with the arrival of a 24 year old toyota. Automatic. The only thing it has in common with most PHers' cars is that both Giles and I can use full throttle in the wet and still put the power down

Barring a collapse in the chain, we should be living near Callington in a few months time.

Hi Rob, Barring a collapse in the chain, we should be living near Callington in a few months time.
Well you have a neighbour who has an Aventador. So not bad company.
you have/had the same predicament as us. There is much less that goes on here, but that said, people are just so much more friendly, it more than makes up for it.
Hope to see you soon.
Cheers,
Chris

Aventador was at this meet I made a while back. Hearing strong shouts for a meet. Like I said hopefully will sort a July one. Been so busy lately though not looked into it.

I would also be up for a meet, however the weekends in July are pretty rammed with shows etc.
Has anyone tried the new American Diner on the top of Haldon Hill (Exeter bound) as I see this has now re-opened and has a good sized car park? Perhaps a Sunday morning venue?
I went to the American diner before BHP show a few weeks back, the car park is an average size car park, good for a about 50+ cars and as for their food, I had their breakfast and I can say is was average. I'll probably be going back their soon and trying their other foods just to see if it's any good.
