Can someone, anyone, tell me if my draw prize has been auctioned. I'm sure people are busy etc, but a quick yes/no is all I ask so I know how many corporate tickets I need to hold back and for which race. If it didn't sell, that's fine, I would like to know simples!!
My prize was to join us, "TWM Racing Team" for a day in the Funcup endurance racing series, help out and generally have a laugh at our expense............thanks!!
Incidentally, if it hasn't sold and someone would like to join us (up to three people), drop me an email, make a donation to the CWC site and come along!!! smile

Hi Paul,

There was an auction at the end, but if i remember rightly it was for the Brand Hatch prize, so i think someone chose your prize. Could be worth mentioning it on the main event thread as there were some people from outside the wonderful South West who were there smile

I had the opposite. Won a prize couldn't get hold of the prize donator.

Paul

The main prizes were all put on to a board and each winner was allowed to choose the prize they wanted. Your prize was taken, but they dont know who by ?

The onus is on the winner to contact you and make arrangements.

If I were you I would hold on to two tickets in case they suddenly get in touch. If it gets to a couple of days before, then I would suspect they wont be attending.

I have no particular knowledge of the process, just wanted to fill the gaps so that it made sense to you.

Has anyone else heard anything about the final total raised? Been over a month now since CWC.

As it has been half term, it's taken a while to get the information from the school about the canteen takings.

At present the total of the JustGiving donations, the money raised on the day and the school canteen is:

£6864.09

We are still to hear what has been raised in the Gift Aid envelopes given to the hospice last Thursday, so hopefully this will bump the total up over £7500.

As you can see, this year seems to have raised less with more vehicles than in 2012.
Taken from the CWC thread in the meets part of the forum

I've not heard from the person who chose the flight either! I guess people just go home and forget about it!
