Emergency soft top repair, help!!!!

Car in question is a Bentley GTC, garage it came from put some sort of leather patches on it i assume to cover some sort of blemish. Recently, in the hot weather, the patches have shrunk and started to come away.

Its being used for a wedding at the weekend and need some sort of fix, and i' m stuck, can anyone assist with ideas?

I was seriously going to suugest duct tape until I read the model....

Duct tape held together the roof on an MX5 I was using a while back, but that WAS an old tatty MX5....

Red duct tape? Maybe a call to Broughtons Cheltenham? Or you could ask poshtwit on here.
