Im a little concerned. After CWC this weekend i have nothing car related penciled into my diary for the future! This isnt good.

So, what car related things has everyone got planned in the SW in the coming months?

Lets try and keep this thread updated with upcoming events.

When you hear about an amateur rally stage, or a hot rod meet, let everyone know! Post it here.

Bude motor show was good last year and we had a meet incorporating it. Inconveniently though this is tommorow . Southwest autosport is getting pretty big now too. Oh yeah. I forgot that's tomorrow as well

Might have top pop over to SWAS tomorrow, I know a few Subaru exhibitors.

(Daughter permitting - she's not as keen on car things as she used to be. Though with a car looming at the end of next year, she'd better start taking an interest!)

Don't forget the Sherbourne castle do for classics and some supercars and then there's the Wilton Supercar event which is always good, I haven't looked up the dates .. don't be lazy just google them

Haha, I know I know. I need to go and sort the route out asap. I'm off on hol for 2 weeks now though. I've got a route in mind. I just want to go and drive it to make sure it's not riddled with 30ft deep potholes.

Sunday 25th May (weather dependant) there is a classic car show at Highcliffe Castle near Christchurch. Starts at 11.00 and is free entry to see the cars apparantly.

I need to get confirmation of the date : there's a car show up on Plymouth Hoe, parking for exhibitor cars is up on the promenade by Smeatons Lighthouse. Will post up date as soon as I have it

Dick Mayo 10th Anniversary Sprint at Castle Combe on 26th July. Free entry for spectators; marshals get a free lunch (no experience necessary).

Family Sports Car Day celebrating the Great British Sports Car at Castle Combe on 27th July. Shed loads of cars on display and track time (pace car; ~50mph) for those who want it. Free entry again and you can camp from the sprint the night before.

South Glos Show - 7 acres of cars, an off-road course and a grass autotest you can have a go at and there's another ~50 acres of non-car stuff (music festival, shooting, fishing, cycling, food, etc.). I think it's a tenner to get in.
