Had enough of turkey? Then you need to blow the cobwebs out and what better way to do it than with a South Coast run on Tuesday 28th December!

Hi Simon, Serby, Honest Freddie and Kevsmev are going up. I'm going up the night before to have a few beers with some of the PH outlaws but will be there from the off on the day!

Hi John,

Think that we would need to leave earlier than that.

My routeplanners all suggest around 2.5 hours to Beaulieu, and they intend meeting there at 12.00.

I'd suggest 9.30 meet, in the middle of the Blackdowns to head off for Beaulieu along the south route.

That way we can meet up with Pete around Dorchester/Poole area.

Anyone else from the South West interested, or even tempted?

My routeplanners all suggest around 2.5 hours to Beaulieu,

Simon

Hi Simon. You can make beaulieu in 2 hours from Exeter, its only 1 hour 30 mins from Exeter to Poole, and beaulieu is only about another 30 mins from there

This is now looking to be only an outside chance for us.

I'll check / post on the 27th if we are still going, as it would be nice to convoy over to Beaulieu.

Compliments of the season to all.

What a day to remember!

70 cars, perfect locations, great roads, an absolute riot in convoy ending up with reserved parking on Bournemouth seafront.

Class!

Edward, it was a great day mate but the main part of the day was TVR only and if I remember correctly you opted out of that club mate!

I went up the night before to have a few beers (as you do) so I therefore went to the first meeting point in Wickham Square where both the TVRCC and Pistonheads runs were setting off from. There were loads of Lotus at the PH meet, looked like a really good bunch of cars loads of Fezzers and the like on a run down to Brighton - that would have been a superb day for you to test the new beastie on (and you would have been the only Exige in attendance!)

Here are a couple of my photos (got some great onboard camera footage too!) but there are a lot more here..

Hope you had a good Chrimbo and I'll catch up for a beer in the New Year!

Thanks Corin, nice pictures. Unfortunately i did opt out of the TVR club but still have a british made plastic car so i try to relate as best i can.
Your car looks very nice and really sticks out from other chimaeras. Happy motoring and happy new year.
