Anyone up for it? Could meet around the Cribbs area and then go through to Cheddar through the backroads back to Bristol?

Take a look at the classics in queens square thread,or the salmon thread,or the aV8 cafe thread,there are sometimes drives arranged from these,they should cover it.

There are no great back roads from cribbs to cheddar. Be best off meeting at Weston and then go across?

OR meet at Bristol really early on Sunday morning and head over to wales?!

That sounds more like it - there are lots of nice B-road loops from Chepstow. The bridge toll is unfortunate, but well worth it.

Experience suggests that between 6 and 9am there wouldn't anyone else about too.

Sounds good. I'm open to any suggestions. But the Midnight Drive might not suit everybody, so doing an early morning one might be better for some?
