Heads up for this weekend coming
Discussion
It's the 1st hillclimb of the season @ Wiscombe Park near Honiton this coming weekend.
For those of you that aren't familiar with it, it's a stunning 1000yd long hillclimb that is great for spectating & photography. There is normally a wide variety of cars from Minis to Audi A8's & single seaters.
I'll be there in my trusty little 172 Cup on Sunday, there will be a few other PH'ers there too I'm sure, either competing or spectating.
If you wander around the paddock feel free to say Hello

Been a couple times before with the mitsubishi evo owners. Lovely venue and hill
Looking forward to it.
I should be in my grey evo, along with a white evo5 and an evo6 tommi mak edition.
5 Scoobies entered on Sunday Giles but not a single Evo for you to cheer on I'm afraid.Been a couple times before with the mitsubishi evo owners. Lovely venue and hill

Got a lads weekend with my son this weekend as we have packed his mum off to Ireland for a Christening. Saturday is football at Plymouth Argyle, but this looks like it will be our Sunday fayre.
What time does it all start on Sunday morning? And presumably we can get fed from various vans there?

Practice normally starts about 10am, timed runs after lunch, normally about 1.30pm. What time does it all start on Sunday morning? And presumably we can get fed from various vans there?
There is normally a food van, ice cream van & bar in the bottom paddock so you can wander around taking in all the cars whilst eating your lunch

I shall be there tomorrow in the Panda. Weather forecast looks terrific!
Be sure to dry out the racing line for us Sunday entrants!1. I rarely find the "racing line", and
2. Forecast for Sunday looks even worse!
Luckily I quite like the wet, helps my underpowered French beastie catch up with the fast boys at the front! Hopefully it won't be a wash out like last year
Very soggy there today.
Glad I took the Rangey, not so glad I didn't wear a decent pair of boots.
Very entertaining, but a little hard to follow what was going on.
Spent an hour pulling people out of the car park after it all fizzled to a halt around 2.45.
Got some great shots of Escorts and that beautiful Mk2 Cortina going around the Martini Hairpin.

Very sadly they had to call a halt at one timed run today due to the horrendous conditions in the bottom paddock, it is normally even better, promise!Glad I took the Rangey, not so glad I didn't wear a decent pair of boots.

And the old Fords are lovely & still very competitive 30ish years on!
