Hello,
Been informed by the lovely people at Toyota yesterday when i took my car in for the brakes to be done that i need 2 new back tyres. Does anyone know of a reasonable priced place to get some from (i brought my last lot when i was working up Leicester and don't really want to drive all the way back up there for some new tyres)

www.pistonheads.com/tyres.asp

Fill in the details - you'll get a good price and they'll tell you where you can get them fitted locally to you.

Are you in Bristol area BB?
If so,I can reccomend going to Pro-tyre,near Old Market-behind Trinity police station.Do a good & quick service for reasonable price.

Where in Cornwall are you living?

I used to get my MR2 tyres from Steve Andrews in St Austell. 225/40/17 Kumho's @ £72ea. They are helpful and friendly.

Thats a first. Pro-tyre reasonable price. been looking all over the bristol area and found Pro-tyre to be one of the most expensive for alloys and tyres.

I found www.xpediatyre.co.uk/index.html very good. bought 2 KUMHO 205-40-16 for £49 each. bloody good tyres as well. about £7 for delvery.I would use them again.

Depends what you're after, i found them the cheapest for my smart, but Bathwick cheaper for Integrale!

My brother can get me Trade price tyres. Most makes, but Xpedia undercut his prices by a few £££
so worth a try.

Pro tyre,not the cheapest,across the board,adimittedly.I was after Goodyear F1's 17x255x40 +-225fr,just over £100 each corner
Main reason tho,is that they look after the customerAND your rims too,-fed up with 17yr old tyre jockeys scratching them.
