Japfest 2014

Only a couple of months until Japfest now, It'll be my 8th year of going! Is anybody else from the SW headed up? I'm going to be there with work on the stand all day, but hoping to see some friendly faces. I saw a few stickered cars last year including a rather nice NSX.

Was the NSX silver? I've seen a silver one with a PH sticker at a couple of shows but I didn't see the owner anywhere.

I am going with the GTR. We are on A-plan Trade Stand. Plan to leave home (just outside Tavistock) at 5am because I need to be at Castle Coombe for 7-7.15am. Will be going up the A30. If you fancy meeting up, could see you at Exeter Services for say 5.45am...

I'm going in the EP3 on a stand 70+ strong. Hopefully right next to the track - we've had a prime spot the last couple of times.

Im staying at home again this year .its far to busy and over crowded for me

But ill sit and watch any footage people get from the comfort of my arm chair

I'll be on the Rarerims stand, hopeing to get out on track this year. Was out in the showboating, supercharged red MX5 last year. Great fun.
I may have to drive the work van and trailer up, if not then it'll be 5 am roof down mx5 time for the drive up!

You will be lucky to find any track time on the day this always sells out

Twas me, I will be present on the NSX stand near Camp Corner, always enjoy this one, love seeing the convoys on the way up, great to see all the young enthusiasts with their 'pride and joy'

yep, live 5 mins away. The kids love watching people run out of talent on quarry.

Yep, 5 year running I think.

Never owned a jap car but I do admire some of them plus it's usually a really good show in terms of on and off track action.

The drifters both amateur and proffessional are always entertaining for different reasons as is the ever varying standard of general track sessions.

Needs to be DRY though!

Will be driving up M5 so will pass by Taunton Deane Services and Sedgemoor Services, will probably stop at Sedgemoor to top up fuel. Could meet there and join up to Castle Combe. Pm me if you want to join up and i'll let you have my mobile number....

Perhaps we should stop going to all events. After all aren't all cars basically the same? I may even stop getting out of bed in the morning. I mean the sun comes up practically every day and then eventually gets dark.
