Anyone fancy meeting up tomorrow (Sunday 9th Mar)
Discussion
Mist the thread.
Was out all day any how. Clear run to Bude this morning. Spot of Surfing. Home for lunch. Then off to Polpero this afternoon with Mrs G aboard. Zed's had a thorough work out and come back clean WTF. This can't be right.
Hope you had a good run out, one and all.

Sadly I'm waiting for someone to come and remove a stairlift.
Thats a shame, think i'd remove it myself and go for a drive. Best weeknd of the year so far. See you at smeatharpe on 22 march, maybe???:-DI'd sold it on Ebay and didn't really know how to get it apart myself (although 10 mins and a bit of thought showed it was easy), but if it is working when they arrive and theyy dismantle it, then it isn't my problem if they can't get it back together again.
Got neice and her husband down in a fortninght, so not sure.
Still, at long last both in-laws are in a care home, and as of Friday their house will be on the market, so soon we might even get weekends back. It also means I need to find somewhere else for the car.

Just a thought, I know that Eurolifts based in Bere Ferrers (near Tavistock) used to buy stairlifts from private residents such as yourself. You may not get quite as much money but it will be hassle free. 01822 841178. They then take the responsibility of installing it and getting it working (saves hassle for you through ebay)

That's so frustrating when people do that, I assume he decided the weather was too nice to come to collect the stairlift.

Thanks - I tried a couple of places that remove them, but they wanted £100 or so!Just a thought, I know that Eurolifts based in Bere Ferrers (near Tavistock) used to buy stairlifts from private residents such as yourself. If he fails to turn up on Tues then I'll go up on Friday and take the thing to the tip.
