HDD & DVD player repair, recommendation.
Discussion
Hi all
I have a HDD recorder with a built in DVD player and VHS video too.
It's worked perfectly for the last couple of years but recently the tuner appears to have died.
I can no longer record to the HDD or view the TV and/or TV guide via Freeview.
The rest of the machine is fine so I was hoping someone could recommend me a decent repairer in the Bristol area.
I know most people would say just bin it, but I'm loathed to do that just yet until I try and get it fixed.
Does anybody offer repair services these days in our sadly disposable society?
Cheers
Mark

You could also try
http://electrofix.com/service.HTM
I had them repair some of my hifi gear last year and they were excellent.
Their website doesn't specifically mention DVD style hardware but they had lots of it there when I went in, so I suspect they'll probably be able to fix your issue.
