Detailer/valeter/mopper near Bristol?
Discussion
ILooking to get my paintwork cleaned up a little. I don't know the exact words that I should be using but detailing seems to be coming up a lot even though I'm not totally sure about the difference between a car cleaner and a detailer.... (No offence offered!)
In summary my car is a solid red colour (Formula Red) and I had the front end resprayed last year and it's now showing up the older paint on the rear. I'm therefore looking for somebody to 'mop' the car from the front doors back and then polish/wax it. The complications come because the car is fibreglass so I'm looking for someone who knows what they are doing with fibreglass cars.
I believe the paint is 2k and therefore will respond to mopping rather than a car with clearcoat.
I also accept that I know nothing what I am talking about so happy to be corrected.
Recommendations on who can do this sort of work to a good standard appreciated.
Thanks
PS - anybody know what mopping a car is likely to cost?

Adam Wookey at Revolution Detailing, Bristol has a very good reputation.

Are you sure the colour match is spot on? Sometimes mopping won't help if the new paint isn't exactly the same as the old (beneath the surface) paint. If it is 2K paint, especially red, there is a fair chance it is faded with sun exposure. Vauxhalls tend to be the worst in my experience for this though.
I do a lot of work in Bristol and the south west, and have experience with a lot of Fibreglass cars - Lotus, TVR's.. fully insured and trained/ approved by the best in the business.

For a proper job by an insured professional, you will pay somewhere between £3-500 I'd have thought. For that the car's paint will ostensibly be better than new.
