I would do plenty of homework and think very carefully before having a wrap done frown

Hmmmmmm. I see what you mean. That's the second forum post I've read that is a tad(lol) frightening. Thanks for the heads up.

Is it the Marcos that you're thinking of wrapping?

Not looked at the Detailing World thread, but in my experience Fibreglass cars need to "breathe" a little and a wrap would not allow that.

I have removed vinyl stripes and found micro blistering underneath on an otherwise unaffected part of the body. Of course it may have been a pre-existing problem and your car may well be in a much better condition but it is important to know all potential issues before making your decision.

Feel free to get in touch of you want to chat about it - www.classic-details.co.uk

Hi,

Car wrapping is something I know a fair bit about.
My advise would be to use someone that specialises in colour changes rather then the company above which is more commercial based and not the best in the colour change market and have limited experience in this.

I own Wrapworx which is based in Devon and specialise in vehicle wrapping all over the UK and abroad.

A few cars we have wrapped for car manufacturers have been on PH

They are doing our race car, are cheap (as they do all my sign writing) local and the vinyl stickers are easy to remove so once LeMans is over Rod can easily remove them himself. That was my thinking, what could you suggest, if you have an idea on what you could offer you might have a few of us come to you!!

As a company we can supply or supply and install pretty much anything graphic wise it really depends on what you require the options are endless

I personally have been envolved in vehicle wrapping for over ten years with well over 1500 wraps from fleet work to press cars for several manufacturers.

Last year we where heavily involved in the first complete colour change on a sunseeker including the interior.

Still hoping to have my car finished for le mans this year which is
not looking hopeful at the moment.

If you or anyone else are interested in vehicle wrapping then just message me on here.
Thanks

Can't speak for quality (possibly do a web search for reviews?), but Projex at Clevedon do a LOT of wraps for a lot of high end stuff (numerous Lambo's Ferraris, etc), as well as the more normal priced.

Pretty sure that they outsource their wraps, as I know Bristol Blue Customs have done work for them.
