insurance for car hire

Can anyone help, looking to hire TVR for 6 months in the south west through Tvr garage, but need to set up insurance seperate like! Own ins.company says will only cover for 1 month at a time, max 3 months cover only! wont set up new policy either (as for a year) as they know now will only have car temporaryily.
Can anyone help or recommend cover by anyone else? Cheers Rich.

Get a quote for a year from somebody else. Many reputable firms have (almost) pro rata refunds for cancelled policies. (Check this out when you get the quote)
